How to Turn Your Traveling Nightmare Into A Dream Come True.

1. Check your flight status 2. Wear comfortable clothing 3. Be prepared 4. Know your rights

For your convenience, check your flight status online. The advantages of checking in online will not only save you time and money but will also allow you change your seat to a desirable location. Also, some airlines have lower charges in checking your luggage via the internet versus at the ticket counter.

Also tracking your flight and weather conditions can save you much unneeded stress. Airlines will inform you of any delays ahead of time if your flight is not arriving as scheduled. Prepare yourself for some delays depending on where you are departing from and where your final destination is located.

Regardless of you traveling agenda it is best that you bring with you a change of clothing in a carry bag. There might be circumstances where you will meet some delay but you can always change into clean and fresh clothes if ever this happens.

Wear comfortable clothing when flying; this will help you make you waiting and flying time enjoyable and relaxing. If you have a connecting flight, it’s easier to travel between terminals in relaxing clothing than your business attire. Being comfortable is a very good asset when traveling in between flights.

Be totally prepared for anything. Having some music to play or a portable DVD player to listen to while on-board or in between flights helps pass the time much quicker than not having entertainment.

Make it a point to bring any kind of snack, better if it is your favorite. Food and drinks sold at airports can be more expensive.

Reading material is another great way to pass the time, that is if you are an avid reader. Bring a book that you have always wanted to read but felt that you haven’t had the time. You’ll never know how long you could be waiting in the plane or in the terminal.

Make sure that you know your rights as a passenger and a patron to a certain airline. There might be sometime that your flight will be canceled with no apparent reason and with no prior advice from the airline companies. If this happens, talk to the flight administrator and make sure that you have all tickets and receipts that put you on your flight.
