Finding Love

February 15th, 2010 by Jayde Johanssen

Relationships are complicated things. Anytime human interaction takes place on more than just a basic level, things can get difficult. This is especially true since not everyone in the dating world is looking for the same thing. People have different ideas about relationships, dating, monogamy, and a whole host of other important issues that can have serious repercussions between people. Disagreements between beliefs and wants often surface once people have gone far enough down a certain path to leave one person feeling hurt.

Men have the unfortunate reputation of being the ones who break hearts and bounce from woman to woman, being averse to real relationships and commitment. While this might be true at times, there are plenty of women out there who have done their fair share of heart breaking and dumping.

While it is impossible to know what kind of relationship a person is looking for when first meeting them, people can exercise a little control over their dating pool by seeking out particular locations. For men in the dating world they can look in particular areas in order to increase the chances that they will find someone with romantic goals similar to their own. Depending on what type of relationship a guy is looking for, there are places they should be sure to visit and others that they should definitely avoid.

Men who are looking for a real relationship and perhaps love should not place too much faith in the bar and club scene. While there are plenty of couples who have stories about meeting at a crowded bar, there are many more that end in heartbreak, disappointment, or a secret boyfriend.

Places likes coffee shops, grocery stores, and book stores are better places for men to look for a potential mate. The calmer, more relaxed atmosphere makes these locations a much more appealing place to meet a potential partner.

When a woman is approached while doing one of her daily tasks she feels as if the man might be interested in her as something more than just a piece of meet. The manner in which a man approaches is also important. Creepy is creepy whether in a bar or bookstore so it is important that a man remain casual, friendly, and respectful when trying to talk to a woman.

Though a man may be looking for a serious relationship, he should not necessarily advertise this fact right off the bat. While it might be a nice change of pace for some women, not all women are looking for deep relationships all of the time.

Sending e-mails back and forth gives both parties the chance to get a better feeling about the other person before giving the direct line of communication in the form of a number. Even if a man is looking for a real relationship, it is important that they not lead with this fact. While some women might find it refreshing and endearing, women are just as capable of being freaked out by commitment as men, especially early in a relationship.

Men dating often use online dating sites to find the right woman. Jayde Johanssen understands this and offers free dating advice. You are welcome to reprint this article – but get your own unique content version here.
