They could be carried conveniently around in a vehicle or an aircraft. They could also be reconfigured to carry the child in more than one different position according to the needs. Strollers were introduced to carry more than one child, normally sitting side by side. You could get a stroller that could carry two kids. Triple strollers have also been recently introduced.
Much more changes have been made such as the introduction of deeper prams, frames that are lower and sturdier, wheels that are larger and brakes. In order to make the carriages lighter, aluminum frames have replaced the earlier frames. This has made it easier to carry them around. Strollers have more accessories. They have become safer and user-friendly. An improvement in the stroller is that strollers are now designed to make it possible for the pusher to also jog with the stroller.
