The Edmonton Chill and the International Basketball League are pleased toannounce that their schedule for the inaugural 2008 season is complete.

Highlights for the home portion of this season include games against the Central Oregon Hotshots, the 2007 IBL scoring champs (May 3rd and 4th), the Everett Explosion, the 2007 regular season Western Division champions (May 23rd and 24th), and the Portland Chinooks, who represented the Western Conference in the IBL Championship (June 20th and 21st). In addition to these big games the Chill will entertain one of the IBL’s international clubs the Shanxi Kylins of China (May 30th and 31st).

The road portion of the schedule, which will be around the IBL team cluster in the greater Chicago area, includes some big games also. The club will play two road dates against the two-time defending IBL champions, the Elkhart (IN) Express (June 7th and 11th), as well as a game against the tallest professional basketball player in the world, 7’9” Sun Ming Ming of the Grand Rapids (MI) Flight.

In all, the Chill will play a 20-game schedule, 12 home dates and 8 road games heading into the Western Conference playoffs which are set to begin on June 27th.
