Jermaine Bucknor (Forward)
6'7" 218lbs
Richmond University
Hometown: Edmonton, AB Canada
Member of Canada's National Men's Team. Led Richmond University in scoring 2005-06 (13.5 PPG) and steals (1.2 SPG) and was second in rebounding. Played for the Toronto Raptors Summer Team 2006 in Las Vegas.  Jermaine played this past winter in the top division in France, one of the world's best leagues.

Hometown: Ottawa, Ontario
Helped lead Acadia University to the Atlantic Conference Championship and to the CIS National Championship final, upsetting the five-time defending champion Carleton University along the way.  He led his conference in blocked shots and was named the Atlantic Conferfence Defensive Player of the Year as well as garnering a Championship Tournament All-Star selection.
Antwon Mills (Forward)

Fresno Pacific University
Antwon is a former teammate of the Chill’s JR Patrick when they played together for the IBL club in Eugene, OR during the 2006 season. Mills averaged 15 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game that season. Mills returned to the Chargers in 2007 where he posted nearly identical numbers – 14 points, 9.8 boards, and 2.3 blocks through the 20 game season. Antwon has also played internationally for several years, most recently with Llanquihue Puerto Varas in Chile. 
 
Marco Morgan (Forward)

Akron University
Morgan played the 2007 IBL season with the Snohomish Co. Explosion, shooting at a 55% clip and grabbing 5.3 boards in 15 contests.  Prior to that he played with the Seattle Mountaineers, and played the 2006 IBL season with the Portland Chinooks (averaged 20.0 ppg in 12 games). Morgan’s college career started at the University of Akron where in his first year he played 27 games averaging 8.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg. Morgan’s second year he played 28 games with an average of 10.0 ppg and 5.3 rpg. Marco just returned from playing pro-ball in Japan

Played for the Canadian Junior National Team from 1997-2000. Was named team captain his senior year at WCU. Played alongside Kevin Martin (Sacramento Kings-NBA). Was also nominated for the John Wooden Award in 2005.

Hometown: Edmonton, AB
The younger brother of teammate and fellow former U of A Golden Bear Stephen Parker was also coached by current Chill assistant Clay Pottinger.  Played three seasons at University of Alberta and was second in scoring on a team that made the National Championship tournament during his final season.  Andrew was also 9th in the CanWest Athletic Conference in free-throw percentage at 78.3%.

Hometown: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Stephen was a teammate with Chill guard Phil Scherer on the 2001/02 National Champion U of A Golden Bears. He was an Honorable Mention All-Canadian, a CIS National Tournament All-Star, and a 1st Team Can-West All-Star. Stephen finished his collegiate career as the Golden Bears all-time leader in steals and with a 16 points per game scoring average.
J.R. Patrick (Guard/Forward)
6'5" 205lbs
Santa Clara University
Hometown: Edmonton, AB Canada
Played with the Eugene Chargers in 2006 where he was an all-star averaging 21.7ppg.  JR played his college ball at Santa Clara University where he was recruited by, among others, Steve Nash.  After college, Patrick began playing pro ball over-seas with stops in Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
Phil Scherer (Guard)
6'3" 195lbs
University of Alberta
Hometown: Edmonton, AB Canada
Played in Switzerland Division 1 and Spain last year. Won a national championship with the University of Alberta Golden Bears in 2001/02. Was named All-Canadian in 2003 and 2004. Played for the Canadian National Junior Team.
Lee Scruggs (Center/Forward)

Hometown: Franklin,North Caroilna U.S.A
Played for Georgetown 99/00 and 00/01 as a starter where he averaged 10.7 ppg and 5.1 rpg. Was named to the Big East All Tournament Team. Freshman of the year in the Mid-Atlantic Conference in 1998 and Flordia Junior College Player of the year 1999 for Daytona Beach where in 1997/98 he averaged 18.0 ppg, 10.1 rpg and 4.1 bpg and in 1998/99 averaged 17.9 ppg, 11.2 rpg and 5.0 rpg. Played for the Washington Wizards Pro Summer League Team and in the NBA D-League with the Asheville Altitude in 2002 where he was named to the All-Rookie team and to the All-Defensive Team.
Stephen Sir (Guard)

2007 All-Big Sky Conference second team selection. Ranks second all-time NCAA three point percentage list (46.9) and tops among all players with 300 or more made. Steve was named to the 2nd Team All Switzerland Pro A League All Star Squad. He was the only rookie to be selected to the first or second team. He averaged 21 ppg and led the league in 3 pointers.

Clayton Pottinger - Assistant Coach

Clay Pottinger has been involved in the local basketball scene for over 2 decades. After playing his senior year at Ross Sheppard High school, Clayton joined the University Of Alberta Men's basketball team. In his final year with the Bears, Clayton captained the team to its first ever CIS National Championship. Clayton Graduated from U of A with a bachelor's degree in education.

Clayton continued to be involved in the game by coaching in the high school ranks, and at countless camps and clinics. He spent 4 years as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at The King's University College in Edmonton. Clayton holds a Master's Degree in Coaching from the University of Victoria.

Clayton is currently an assistant coach for the University of Alberta Golden Bears. He resides in Edmonton, and teaches high school mathematics at Leduc Composite High.
